Amy Conley joined Underwood Law Office in July 2005. She is a 1984 graduate of Huntington High School. She holds an A.A.S. Degree in Legal Assisting and a Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marshall University. Amy is a life- long resident of Huntington. One of three children, Amy is the daughter of William S. “Bill” Spurlock, who is a local business owner for more than 30 years.
Amy has worked in the legal field for 20 years, and has experience in many facets of law including criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, estate planning and probate and Social Security Disability.
Amy is the legal assistant primarily responsible for criminal law, family law and civil litigation cases. Her legal duties include meeting with clients, pleading/document preparation, filing pleadings with the court clerks, keeping clients informed on the progress of their case and preparing the cases for negotiations or trial. In addition, she is responsible for Social Security Disability claims at the initial application and appeal levels.
Amy is married to Jim Conley, also a Huntington native. She is a proud mother of 4 children: Nick, who lives in Huntington; Alex, who is enlisted in the United States Marine Corp; Abby, who attends Huntington High School and is a member of the girls’ basketball team; and Sarah Grace who attends elementary school.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys attending her children’s school and sporting events. She is past board member of Contact, a 24 hour Rape Crisis Center and she is currently is an administrator for Parris Island Moms, an online Marine mom support group.
